Слушаю периодически подкаст "The Evolution of Horror". У них есть сегмент "Frightfest Preview". Фрайтфест это лондонский кинофестиваль ужасов, который проходит в августе. Я послушала обзоры на фильмы, которые выходят сейчас, либо только выйдут в прокат. Есть фильмы, которые, возможно, не появятся на больших экранах, так как на фестивале представлено много инди фильмов, поэтому я решила поделиться избранными здесь, чтобы отслеживать их вместе.

1. "Daniel Isn't Real"

A defiant teenage boy, struggling with his parent's imminent divorce, faces off with a thousand year-old witch, who is living beneath the skin of and posing as the woman next door.

4. "Freaks"



A bold girl discovers a bizarre, threatening, and mysterious new world beyond her front door after she escapes her father's protective and paranoid control.

5. "A Good Woman Is Hard to Find"



A recently widowed young mother will go to any lengths to protect her children as she seeks the truth behind her husband's murder.

6. "Kindred Spirits"

Kindred Spirits, dials back on the horror elements but continues his tradition of telling female-centric stories. It stars Thora Birch as Chloe, a single mother of teenage daughter Nicole (Sasha Frolova), a rebellious girl beginning to come into her own. Into their lives returns Sadie (Caitlin Stasey), Chloe’s free-spirited sister who’s been estranged for the last year. Sadie moves back in with the women and is quickly attending high school parties with Nicole and inserting herself into Chloe’s relationship with Alex (Macon Blair), the father of Nicole’s best friend and Chloe’s sort-of secret boyfriend. She gets too close too quickly, and it gradually becomes apparent that maybe Sadie’s motives aren’t entirely innocent.

я, кстати, помню ты мне его советовала и не раз. ещё ни один сезон не посмотрела. спасибо за напоминание!

Jeanne dArc, он странненький, первый сезон мне не особо зашел, но они все очень такие необычные-психоделичные. сразу видно, что чувак до этого над Ганнибалом работал))
