TDQ: What attracted you to the role?

HP: I think Bev Katz is a fascinating woman. She’s super smart, an expert in forensics, science, medical knowledge, and she’s also a bad ass out in the field, knows her way with weapons and the physical demands of ass whooping. And she’s excelling in a field typically dominated by men. She’s a real woman with some mystery and a lot of attitude. And on top of all that, she’s a Thomas Harris character in the Hannibal series. It’s an honor to be a part of that legacy.
