“My brother Charlie was always more of an outdoor type, so he went for Care of Magical Creatures […] " (x)Слушаю сейчас "Гарри Поттер и Тайная комната" в читке Стивена Фрая. Во первых, боже благослови аудио формат. Раньше я не воспринимала книги на слух вообще и спустя минуту переставала следить за сюжетом. Сейчас у меня не осталось выбора кроме аудио книг, потому что у меня часто устают глаза из-за учёбы и работы за компом и чтение превращается в утомительное занятие. Единственный минус, я не пойму как на айфоне настроить аудио файлы так, чтобы они воспроизводились с того момента, с которого я заканчиваю их слушать (каждый раз мне приходится перематывать искать кусок, на котором я остановилась). Во вторых Стивен Фрай! Я не очень верила, что смогу хорошо на слух воспринимать книгу на английском, но так как я начинала читать её в оригинале, то тупо было продолжить слушать её на русском. И Стивен Фрай для этого идеальный чтец. Он виртуозно меняет голоса и интонации для каждого героя. Через голос он так здорово передаёт характеры, что в голове появляется сразу яркая картинка всех участников диалогов. Мои любимые голоса у Фрая это Хагрид и Дамблдор.
По поводу самого ГП. Так как я сейчас много читаю про асексуальность, зависаю во всяких блогах и сообществах, то узнала такой гп-шный хэдканон, что Чарли Уизли асексуал, который всю жизнь посвятил драконам
Оттого, что про одного из старших сыновей семьи Уизли вообще мало известно, он отличный материал для хэдканонных историй. Люблю читать их на тумбе. Эта любовь к Чарли пересеклась с моей любовюь к семье Уизли.
В фильмах я как-то не особо проникалась их атмосферой и мне они вообще казались какими-то дикими. Но после того, как я послушала главу "The Burrow", я как и Гарри была очарована атмосферой дома Уизли. Мне кажется важным, что мы смотрим на семью Уизли именно глазами Гарри. То, что для семьи Уизи кажется обыденным и даже постыдным (как Рон неловко приглашал Гарри в свою комнату), Гарри кажется чудесным. Ну и в целом меня трогает за душу каждый персонаж. Начиная с того, как Артур отстаивает честь своей семьи перед Люциусом, заканчивая Джорджем и Фредом, которые всегда рады любому кипишу и нарушению правил. Жду не дождусь дослушать до книг, когда Джинни будет взрослой и узнать её получше.

He was in the same year as Nymphadora Tonks
He was a prefect at Hogwarts
He played the seeker position on the Gryffindor Quidditch team
He was Quidditch captain
He had the skill to play Quidditch professionally, but chose to go to Romania to study dragons instead
The only time we even see him in the movies is in the Daily Prophet picture of the full Weasley family in Prisoner of Azkaban
He was assigned by Dumbledore to recruit foreign wizards for the Order of the Pheonix
He was the Best Man at Bill and Fleur’s wedding
He never married or had any children, wanting to study dragons rather than forming a romantic relationship
(x)Headcanon that Ron is super close with Charlie and Percy is really close with Bill.So everyone can see that Ginny and the twins have a pretty amazing, close sibling relationship. And coming from a person with 4 half sisters, a half brother, and two brothers, I can tell you, it’s basically impossible to be equally close to all your siblings when there’s a lot of them.
So, I’ve got this headcanon that Ron is super close with Charlie and Percy is really close with Bill.
Just picture it, Charlie showing a young Ron all his model dragons and building model castles for them to destroy together.
Bill reading to a young Percy to out of an encyclopedia because Percy just wants to know everything and Bill remembers being like that.
Ron going to Charlie to ask for relationship advice and Charlie just shrugging and saying “Good luck, mate. I’ve never understood any of it. Dragons,” and Ron being even more confused than before.
Bill being so proud of Percy when he’s made prefect and then head boy.
Charlie being super supportive of Ron when he makes the quidditch team and is nervous about playing.
Percy asking Bill what he should do when the ministry starts to turn against the family and Bill telling him to “Do what you feel is the right thing,” only to cry for hours when Percy chooses to stick with the ministry.
Charlie being the cool uncle for all of Ron’s kids and showing them the dragon models he used to play with Ron with.
Bill and Percy talking through what happened after Percy realizes what he did was wrong and returns to the family and Bill being so happy to have his little brother back.
